چکیده

In this study conducted in 2020, three concentrations (1, 5 and 10 µM) of 24-epibrassinolide were applied to seedlings Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. (Solanales: Solanaceae) cv. H2274, which is susceptible root-knot nematodes, by immersion, spray irrigation, its effects against nematode Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid & White, 1919) Chitwood, 1949 (Tylenchida: Meloidogynidae) investigated. One-thousand second stage juveniles M. , collected from cucumber roots a greenhouse located Çardak, Çanakkale inoculated on the plants. After eight weeks, stem fresh weight, dry root diameter longest length values, addition measured at beginning end experiment, recorded. 24-Epibrassinolide, an immersion method, gave similar or better results than control even presence nematodes. Distilled water plus application showed highest gall index whereas µM lowest index. The number egg mass was also obtained same concentration immersion. As result, beneficial effect terms reducing damage caused nematodes tomato plants, depending method.
